Privacy Policy

Bid Boots matches trade businesses to government contracts and drafts proposals from their own work. To do that we hold information about your business and the documents you upload. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, from the sign-up form or from Google if you sign in with Google.
- Business profile — your trade and NAICS codes, service area, certifications and set-aside eligibility, and past projects you describe.
- Documents — insurance certificates, bonding letters, licenses, certifications and project photos you upload to the vault.
- Proposals — the drafts we generate, the changes you ask for, and the outcomes you log.
- Usage — which bids you view, track or dismiss, so matching improves over time.
- Billing — your plan and payment status. Card details are entered with and held by our payment processor; we never see or store the full card number.
How we use it
- To match you to open bids and rank them by fit.
- To draft, revise and export proposals and submission emails on your behalf.
- To warn you before a certification or insurance document expires.
- To send the bid digests, alerts and account emails you have signed up for.
- To run, secure and improve the service.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your documents or proposals to advertise to you.
Who processes it for us
We rely on a small number of providers, each of which only receives what it needs to do its part:
- Supabase — sign-in, database and document storage.
- Vercel and Railway — hosting for the website and application servers.
- Anthropic — the AI model that drafts and revises proposals. The relevant parts of your profile, documents and the bid are sent to it when a draft is generated.
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Resend — delivery of email digests and alerts.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
Where bid data comes from
Solicitations and award history come from public sources such as SAM.gov and state, county and city procurement portals. Bid Boots is not affiliated with any of them.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, profile, documents and proposals for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete that information, except for records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and remove documents at any time from within the app.
- Ask us to stop digests and alerts, request a copy of your information or a correction, or ask for deletion of your account by emailing sales@bidboots.com.
Children
Bid Boots is a business service and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects how your information is used, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
